Bonomi Industries proudly participated once again in the Race for the Cure, the world’s largest event dedicated to the fight against breast cancer. Organized by Susan G. Komen Italia, a non-profit, volunteer-based organization, the event has been helping raise awareness and funds for breast cancer prevention and research since 2000.

At the heart of the event are the Donne in Rosa (Women in Pink), women who are currently fighting or have survived breast cancer. Through their courage and resilience, they are powerful ambassadors for awareness and prevention, sending a message of hope to the 56,000 women in Italy who are diagnosed with breast cancer each year.

Over the past 25 years, thanks to events like Race for the Cure, Susan G. Komen Italia has raised more than €31 million to fund research, prevention programs, and support services for women affected by breast cancer across Italy.

For Bonomi Industries, participation in the Race for the Cure has become a company tradition. Supporting women’s health is particularly significant to us, also since 44% of company workforce is made up of women

The 2025 edition of the Race for the Cure was held on Sunday, September 28, in Brescia. Employees and their families participated with enthusiasm, equipped with official race kits provided by the company. The day began with breakfast at a local café in the city center to energize before the start. Participants could choose between a 2 km or 5 km route through the historic streets of Brescia, walking or running together in a spirit of solidarity and shared purpose.

Bonomi Industries regularly organizes internal awareness initiatives for employees on important social issues, including events like the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, helping to foster a supportive workplace culture.
