A voluntary disclosure to share progress, responsibility, and future commitments with all stakeholders
Bonomi Industries has once again chosen to publish its Sustainability Report on a voluntary basis, continuing the journey begun in 2024 with the first edition of this work that documents our commitment to ensure future generations will live in the same environment we enjoy today, or a better one.
Although the European Union delayed ESG reporting for two years, we have decided to share our actions transparently, driven by a strong vision for the future.
This second report outlines the initiatives, the results, and the future goals we have set in the three key areas of sustainability: environment, people, and governance. We fully embrace this responsibility, aware of the role we play as a manufacturing company in a sector that is increasingly called upon to shift towards a sustainable economy.
Sustainability in our production model

As manufacturers of valves and actuators for fluid control, we understand the importance of delivering reliable, safe, and long-lasting solutions. Every RuB product is the result of precision engineering and a state-of-the-art quality control system, designed to ensure high performance over time.
All RuB brass ball valves are silicone-free and engineered for long-term durability, reducing the need for replacements and making end-of-life recycling easier. Over 80% of the materials used in production come from recycled sources, and brass scrap is recovered and reused to minimize waste and maximize resource efficiency.
We rely on a well-structured supply chain: 98% of our total purchases come from suppliers located within 50 km of our manufacturing site in Mazzano (Brescia), reducing transport-related emissions and prioritizing partnerships that share our commitment to quality and ESG topics.
Environmental performance and process innovation
The entire roof of our plant was used to install solar panels, which produced over 1,600 MWh of clean energy in 2024, marking a 105% increase compared to the previous year. Combined with targeted investments in smart technologies and energy efficiency, this result contributed to a 16% reduction in CO₂e emissions and helped contain operating costs.
As part of our “Zero Plastic” goal, in our company canteen disposable containers have been replaced with reusable tableware, and meals are now prepared on-site to minimize waste and providing better meals at the same time. Similarly, we implemented more sustainable packaging practices—using recyclable cardboard boxes with no adhesive tape or metal staples. Simple, effective solutions that reduce material use and simplify disposal for our customers.
People, safety, and social responsibility

Health and safety at work is a shared priority across all companies of the Group. At Bonomi Industries, we operate under a management system aligned with ISO 45001:2018, supporting continuous risk monitoring and the implementation of preventive measures. We regularly invest in training, including workshops and awareness initiatives for our team, and continue to upgrade our production lines with equipment designed to improve ergonomics in the workplace. This structured approach has already yielded positive results. In 2024, our wholly owned U.S. subsidiary, RuB Inc., received MNSTAR certification—the highest workplace safety recognition awarded in the State of Minnesota. As promised last year, we launched the “Silvio Bonomi Scholarship”, for the children of our employees who excel in their studies. This initiative honors the values of our founder, Silvio Bonomi, and is part of our commitment to rewarding merit and investing in education as a driver of social progress. At the same time, we continue to return part of the value generated to the communities in which we operate, supporting schools and non-profit organizations focused on inclusion and local development. With this latest edition of the Sustainability Report, we are proud to share with all our stakeholders both the results we’ve achieved and the decisions that will shape the evolution of our company. This is a journey we are committed to building together—step by step—through meaningful actions in the context where we operate. Sharing our sustainability journey for the Future
