Key features of the RuB S.465 lead-free brass ball valve
The S.465 brass ball valve is a full-port solution designed specifically for drinking water systems. Available in sizes from 1/2” to 1”, it ensures unrestricted flow and maintains precise control, making it suitable for both residential and commercial water installations.
Designed with automation in mind, the S.465 integrates a robust ISO 5211 and DIN 3337 mounting flange, enabling direct and universal connection to electric and pneumatic actuators without the need for brackets or couplings, thereby simplifying installation and reducing assembly time. For a complete automated solution, the S.465 valve can be combined with the RuB range of electric and pneumatic actuators, such as Compact Power electric actuator.
Manufactured through hot forging, the valve body is made from lead-free brass CW511L, with lead content limited to a max of 0.1% by volume. This composition ensures full compliance with the EU Drinking Water Directive (EU 2020/2184) and reflects a design approach oriented towards international projects. Thanks to its material selection and construction principles, the S.465 valve has the potential to be certified according to major global drinking water standards, including NSF, DVGW, WRAS and CSA Drinking Water.
