Compression ends are highly reliable, quick to install and a much easier alternative than soldering.
Although the primary advantage of compression ends may seem to be in their ease of assembly – just slide the pipe into the valve end and tighten the nut – their real advantage is in their ease of disassembly, which facilitates ease of maintenance, cleaning and replacement.
Compression ends allow flexibility and can also be used on plastic pipe by utilizing plastic (non-metal) compression rings which are widely available at most hardware stores.
The BONOMI INDUSTRIES s28 and s30 valves with compression ends have many advantages. Specifically designed with the versatile compression end configuration, s28 and s30 also offer the significant features of having their body, ball and stem, all made of DZR brass alloy in compliance with governmental regulations for valves handling drinking water. Utilizing new technology, these valves feature the reliability and competitiveness of brass while being comparable to bronze in corrosion resistance.
