At Bonomi Industries, we place great importance on supporting social initiatives that raise awareness and encourage active involvement. That’s why we regularly organize events and special days that offer our employees meaningful opportunities for dialogue and meditation on important issues.

One such initiative is our annual participation in the “Race for the Cure,” organized by the Susan G. Komen Italian Association. This charity event funds educational and early detection programs to help fight breast cancer, a cause especially significant to us, as nearly 45% of our workforce is made up of women.

For the fifth consecutive year, Bonomi Industries proudly joined the event on Sunday, September 29. The day was filled with initiatives dedicated to health, sports, and solidarity, culminating in the traditional 5 km run and 2 km walk in the streets of Brescia city center. Our employees and their families gathered early in the morning, united in their commitment to this meaningful cause.

The day began with a breakfast at a local café in central Brescia, we all met to recharge and prepare for the event. Sandro Bonomi, CEO of Bonomi Industries, also stopped by to encourage the participants. From there, the team headed to the Health Village at Campo Marte to take part in the Race, which this year marked its 25th anniversary.

The event was especially full of activities, including a special moment before the race start: the Italian national anthem performed by the Carabinieri military band, accompanied by the children's choir “Un Coro di Voci.”.

For Bonomi Industries’ employees and their families this initiative was a chance to come together, share experiences, and support a vital cause. Participating in events like “Race for the Cure” not only benefits those directly involved but also nurtures a culture of health and solidarity, both within the company and beyond.
